As someone newer to recording that is mainly a drummer, new technology with amp sims has completely re inspired me to write/record/practice guitar and just playing music in general.

I am using reaper. just bought/downloaded djinn bass.
I tried googling some tutorials for it and almost all videos are just reviews or demos. Not really how to use it, tutorials with importing midi, or examples of how to use features.

do you think there would be a big difference in quality/sound/ability to handle low tuning between the SLS and what I'm current playing which is the old damien elite-7 diamond series?
My plan so far is to just import the midi from guitar pro, so I imagine the only thing I would have to change is things like slides or slaps and such. not even sure if either of ones I mentioned have that kind of thing though.
