    Non-Matching Pole-Pieces on GOC Vajra 7 - Replacement Pickups

Hey there lovely people! So i bought one of those GOC Guitars - in my case a Varja 7. I really like the thing, especially for the price! The fretwork on mine is perfect, it has stainless steel frets and everything! What I noticed though is that they didn't put in fitting pickups. Since its a...

Jackson DKAF7 X Series vs Schecter Demon-7 First 7 String Help!

Hello everyone, new to the forum here. I am looking at picking up my first 7 string guitar and wonder if anyone has some input on either of these two guitars? I can buy each used locally for a decent price compared to them brand new. The DKAF7 being the more expensive (it's a multi-scale). My...

    Is 28,625 acceptable for a 9-string guitar?

I've ben eyeing Legator Pendulum 92528 after realizing the undoubted benefits of the multi-scale design. Previously I wanted the Septor 930, but I realized a 30" scale might not be the most desirable for the highest strings, making them very stiff and not susceptible to bends. Compared to...

    Multi-Scale Set-up

Just a quick one for anyone with advise. I've recently come into ownership of a multi-scale 7 string Jackson, 25.5" - 27" scale and straight out of the box there's loads of fret buzz and due to the current set-up, some form of dead fret nonsense going on. This was only made worse when tuning it...

    Opinions on Agile Multi-Scale guitars?

So I bought a used Jeff Loomis Signature 7 (without trem) about a year ago. I love the guitar, but the neck pickup crapped out on me and many parts are starting to come loose. I've been thinking of buying a new 7, and I've been hearing a lot about Agile guitars. I've also been wanting to try...

    C#0 and F#0 strings (video)

    8 string quality comparison

So, I have been in the market for an 8 for what seems like forever and I am going to be selling my Ibanez Rg3520ze prestige to help pay for it. I have been spoiled by this glorious guitar and need an 8 string that comes close in quality, or exceeds it. Does anything match the quality of a...

    Slanted pickups for multiscale 8

Hey I plan to start building a carbon fiber 8 soon and was wondering if i would have pickup problems due to a 28.5 to 25.5 scale. Would I need to order specialty slanted pickups or would i be able to get away with painkiller? OR could I switch to 28.5 to 27/26.5 scale?
