Hi there,
built a Chupa from Nik and it is awesome. It is essentially a hot rodded JCM 800 50 watt amp. I added many mods and I love it. Purple snakeskin as it's inspired by your 80's MTV hair metal god videos and the like.
Most mods can be seen in the pics and listed below:
5 way voice switch...
This has been a couple days coming now, since I actually got it on Friday, but I finally pulled the trigger on a Mesa Mark V, I saw one used at GC that was too tempting not to get. There's some signs of wear on the amp in a few places but nothing critical. Sound wise, this thing blows me away...
I finally got this back from Guitar Center. I had it on layaway for about a week. I had gone in there one day to just buy some strings and found this used and before I knew it, the thing was being put in the back until I got my paycheck.
I don't own a speaker cabinet so for now I am running...
After almost three years of sitting in it's case, my RG7620 has finally been reassembled and put back into action. It's also been almost as long since I've played seriously, so I finally decided to unload my Peavey Classic 50 for something a bit more appropriate, a Bugera 333XL combo (Inb4 they...
Hey guys. My friend and I both decided to take advantage of the Musicians Friend sale and both bought new Bugera amps. I got the 333 and he got the 6262. So I did a quick silent test. It's an old clip but I just rerecorded the guitar tones. Blown away honestly. I hate to come off as one of...
im very excited to now own 2 of the most expensive amps engl makes
the Engl Invader and the SE Preamp.
these things drive everything i like about full bore metal tones to snappy cleans to Ac/Dc crunch tones.
i cant wait to own the poweramp i have on hold as well!
hopefully i can...
So after waiting a super long time for me to save up enough money and to find the right deal, I finally got an axe fx. I bought it off of ebay as a bundle deal. It came with a Roland midi foot controller, a midi sport, and a mint condition Axe-Fx Ultra for $1400. Anything worth having is worth...
So I was able to get myself a new amp finally for Christmas. I find it to be quite the decent 20 watt practice amp. :shred:
It's got 2 channels (lead & rhythm), 2 stock speakers, external speaker output, effects loop and an aux input.
Speaker quality is a little meh but I'm happy cause...
Not very new, but this year event. :-)
I changed my rack to a 100W full-valve amp!
Custom made, not for me, but fits into my plans.
Sounds like GOD! :hbang::shred::metal:
3-channel:
1 - Room Of Virgins (based on a Fender Twin Reverb, has a bright on/off mode)
2 - Alchemist's Chemistry...
So I've had gas over one of these for years, in a nice trade for a Randall V2 Archetype I finally got one, fuck yes \m/ Kt88s for the win
I've gotta say, as great as the Archetype truly was, the Deliverance just owned it. Not many control options, but just the most raunchy tight articulate...
This was waiting for me when I got back from the office
Oh looky looky
What might that be?
Footswitch with 6 buttons and "JVM" can only mean one thing
Hell Yeah!
Glamour shot
The tubes

The reduced pedalboard. Ain't no...
The Club from ZT Amps:
Single channel, 200 watt 12" of goodness.
Bought it on Saturday just a couple of hours before band rehearsal for church, quickly dialed in a killer clean tone (super clean too) and adjusted my current pedals appropriately. I was running them through a Vox...
So my AT-100 went "POW!" and subsequently smelled funny after a preamp tube swap out - probably wiggled something loose that was about to go anyway i'm guessing, so now it runs at 25% volume. Anyway, after a few days of soldering, tweaking, and troubleshooting, it's now in the shop (i know...
5153 100 Watt. This thing is huge, in sound and aesthetics. look at how small my avatar 2X12 looks under this thing!
:hbang:
on a side note, anyone have a suggestion for a good boost pedal that plays nice with this amp?, and can anyone vouch whether an ISP decimator works better with...
So I got my dream amp after years of GASing for it. I was happp to pay for it, the shipping, and the tax when it arrived
Here she is (its the one on the right!):
As happy as I am to receive this amp, there are problems with this amp and I just can't seem to fix. I've been emailing back...
So here it is, the amp i have been searching for for the past year and a half. This think is perfect for me, it has a beautiful clean channel and does the brootalz quite well (despite what internet gear people had to say). Tell me if you want more pics. The ability to switch between el34 and 6l6...
Alright, so after a few months of saving, I've finally gotten my 6505+ head. I've still got a few kinks to work out in terms of the tone I'm trying to get out of it, and I'm still in the process of making the cleans sound better, but I love it so far. I'm thinking about getting some sort of tube...
so I haven't gotten around to this due to 1)work 2)band 3)fixed the PC 4)just now got SOMETHING with a camera
my MXR 10 band EQ and Boss NS-2 velcro'd via amp head
My Peavey XXL in the works of being modded
My Digitech Harmony Man IPS pedal
My Modtone Stutterkill Kill Switch...
Nothing too fancy.
I love the sound of this thing. Haven't really had a chance to push it very hard to see how the tubes distort on their own. I need to get a good distortion pedal to run with it. I'm thinking this
I'm just using it for guitar now, but I'll use it for...
Some of you may remember me buying KazE's VHT here.
Well.. after all this time, I HAS IT! :hbang:
KazE (or Ari) has been a great seller, providing me with all the information I asked for, from custom footswitches to additional pics to cabs and documents. Unfortunately USPS decided to fuck up...
