    Guitar Clear Coat

    Anyone have experience? Chris and I will be finishing a few guitar this summer and we're looking for recommendations for the clear coat. I've done a little research and found "Nitrocellulose lacquer" has been used. Any other suggestions.. :yesway:

    Update photos of my RG7620 re-finish + Rusty Cooley Mod.

    I was able to borrow a digital camera from a friend yesterday & snap these off. This is with the MetalCast Blue paint from Duplicolor. I had to re-apply it, because I didn't apply enough clear coats before wetsanding to level, & sanding through the MetalCast, so I had to start about 1/2 way...

    you might remember from my other thread the m-107 i scored. it was what i called gayby blue. awful. it is now stripped, primed and the 1st coat of paint is on. after a bit of deliberation, i decided against a swirl.they look better on an ibanez anyway. so what better paint job than a kamikaze...
