Boss katana 100 212 + mesa boogie grid slammer?

I know that this amp have an included distortion but, what if i add this pedal? i will be able to get better and more bigger high gain tone?

I have a Boss Katana 50 and a grid slammer, it sounds pretty gnarly when I crank the gain. I mostly use it for some grit on crunchier tones though.

I like to use it on its own in front of the lead amp, but with the amp gain up high as well. So using both the amp and the pedal to distort
