Generally price and quality go hand in hand, especially in the guitar market.

The more you pay, the better the quality.
I suggest saving up and getting the best possible, because who wants a low end custom guitar? If you want a custom, you want it to be the best possible correct?

so best bet is to save up to afford what you NEED and what will sound and play the best to you.

But seriously man, you probably won't find anything under 1K. Siggery as mentioned is probably your best bet. I would just save up a bit
