Hey dudes,

after a horrible journey with a guitar that i bought from ormsby from their wmi production and the resulting refund from this journey, i searched for alternatives in the multiscale area.
After ormsby i wouldnt go further with import guitars, also Kiesel i havent read good reviews from, so also no option for me. I searched for about a month and i found vandermeij guitars based in netherlands.

After studying the homepage and looking for models they offer i found the review from a guy named soulhenge in youtube. He reviewed a blue multiscale 7 magistra in a blue aqua finish in his video. After looking at this guitar i was instantly in love with the guitar. Over instagram i got in touch with koen from vandermeij guitars and asked about the price for the same guitar as a sixstring with a longer scale also in multiscale. The contact was very nice and good, after the ormsby experience i was very impressed with their customer care. Quickly we worked things out, and i got an specsheet and offer for the guitar which i payed in two rates. First pictures from the neck an the body arrived in my instagram account and also the fretboard is ready. Also he got in touch with me to select the top for the body, which was also very nice and a cool customer service, no one actually did that before when i bought a custom made guitar. I really enjoy the contact with vandermeij guitars and also the work that this one man shop does, so i want to share this experience with you.

News from yesterday, necks are prepared (mine is the second from below). And i got a Video from gluing the fretboard, i´ve made a screenshot from it.

Oh man this rings true with me, I did the exact same as you dude! I got a complete refund on my heavily delayed Goliath order, and sold my HypeGTR which was plagued with issues which their QC failed to notice!

I then put the money towards a deposit on my Aristides!

This is going to be on hell of a guitar dude!

Koen is the greatest. I'm on my third Magistra, and the most recent slaughters the first two (they were nothing short of excellent). I have two more coming this year, and am aiming for two next year. Koen's guitars are truly next level!!
