Focus is really great and traced in air was even better but re-traced and carbon based anatomy were COMPLETELY uninteresting. I didn't like a single thing on either. I'll remain cautiously optimistic about the LP.

Pretty much sums up what I'm thinking. Before re-traced I thought Cynic could do no wrong.

Really hoping for something a bit more towards TiA and Focus, CBA wasn't really working for me, and neither was Re-Traced...

I just looked on Cynic's facebook, and saw a comment "New Cynic album will be out in the fall (around October)." Wish it was sooner, but great to hear it's in the works.
