I've been thinking of how cool a traditional Tele in a 7-string multiscale/fanned fret format would be, but does that even exist?

Most multiscale guitars come with humbuckers, or H/S/S at best. I'd like a proper Tele style bridge pickup at least. Body shape can be non-Tele, looking for a classic Tele sound more than anything.

I don't think it will give you a classic tele sound, and it is not really traditional... but I think these are cool so I just drop it, as I believe it is the only sort over multiscale tele non custom on the market (ok and harley banton but nhaaaa)

Hybrid Guitars does a lot of Tele inspired builds, and will use whatever pickups you want, but they're not cheap (~$4K starting).

What model of Ormsby is this?

Edit - after some googling it seems to be a TX GTR in azure blue.

You can always change pickups and bridge? A tele bridge pickup fits inside a standard humbucker route.

Redo the bridge and chuck a pickguard on there. It's a $300 guitar. These are so cheap i have only even seen them advertised on facebook locally for $250

Something like that does start to seem like the best option. Seems that model has been discontinued though but maybe I can find a used one in my country.

Single coil multiscale extended range models of any kind are surprisingly rare.

Kiesel Solo can be order as a 7 string multiscale with single coils, a few have been produced with those specs but you'd have to custom order your own "proper" Tele pickups from someone custom

Check out Vola. They do Tele shapes in 7-strings, not sure about the multi-scale but a lot of the rest of what you describe/wish for is there.

I suppose it's vaguely tele shape (pretty ugly IMO) but it has no Tele pickups.

I've been wanting one for years. My tele sounds absolutely nasty through any high gain amp. Would love a fanned fret single coil.
