I've always been a huge fan of the acoustic outro to Protest the Hero's "Blindfolds Aside".
Still one of their most well-written pieces today, imo.

Does a 4 minute interlude in the middle of a song count?
If you're cool, you'll listen to the whole thing, but the acoustic bit begins at around 3:29 for you ADD kids :lol::

The acoustic intro eclipses the rest of the song... easily one of my fav Scorpions songs.

Of course, the classics like Zep - Over the Hills, Rush - The Trees, Floyd - Wish You Were Here, etc., but for a newer choice, I like the outro on this -

While I hate the acoustic-intro-to-a-metal song trope, for whatever reason I have a soft spot for ‘80s hair metal acoustic intros. Maybe because ‘80s hair metal is nothing more than a collection of its own cliches. But my two faves are:
