That is the most beautiful BRJ I have seen to date. Love the headstock, even though I really like his standard headstock a lot

That headstock reminds me of the old esp h series head stocks which esp for some dumb reason stopped making. Definitely a great looking guitar.

I posted up a full review of this in the Guitar Reviews section, but I don't know how traffic those get, so I thought I'd share over here as well.

That is TOTALLY SWEET, Kamanick!

and I too like that headstock much better than the usual BRJ headstock.

Ok, so the big question is!
Besides the "trem" (which I know you already prefer), how do you like it compared to your old Carvins?

The neck profile is a bit thinner than my DC727 neck was.
Bernies "Shred" profile is not flat, it's still round ist's just "slim" very confortable to play. a very shallow "C"
The fret board is a touch wider and much flatter (20" VS 14").
I like the fret work on the Rico much more, my Carvin fret ends were beveled in so far that I ended up needing a total refret so the high E string wouldn't pull off of the edge of the board. :wallbash:
I really liked my DC727 but this thing is on a whole other level. :shred:
My DC727 neck was oiled, if I could order this gutiar again, that would probably the only option I would change. Bernies painted necks are very fast , not sticky at all, there's just something about the feeling of a raw oiled neck :hbang:

Wow nice, I'm not a fan of the neck binding though.
I am but only with an Ebony board. if I had chosen maple or rosewood I would've passed , but I'm an old Jackson soloist guy and to me ebony + binding=win.

Damn, that's nice.

What pickups do you have in it?
