Hi all,
I own a 2001 G&L Invader Custom Gitarre with Mahogani bodym Maple top and neck, rosewood fretboard with 22 frets and a Floyd Rose Tremolo. I usually play it through an ENGL Invader 150 and play all kinds of music ranging from Classic Rock over Hard Rock and Heavy Metal to Soul and a bit of Blues. Therefore I am looking for a versatile PU combination that has enough oommmph / power, but that still sounds differentiated and has sufficient dynamics. I thought of the following two PU combinations as HSS configuration in bridge to neck sequence.
1. DiMarzio: Super Distortion DP 100 - Area 67 - Injector Neck
2. DiMarzio: Crunch Lab - Area 67 - Injector Neck
What do you think about those? I am open and grateful for any comment and / or alternative suggestion. Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers,
Flo
