Single input, two full guitar chains and the diffrence is at the outputs, one of them panned left, the other right.

That works pretty well, unless you've had something else on your mind ;-)

That would only split a single signal, correct? In a DAW I couldn't assign two guitar tracks to a single instance of Helix and have the tracks panned left and right respectively.

Besides it'd be easier to just have a stereo/mono switch that will do that without doubling the chain

At the example above yes, that's for a single signal. You could also choose another output for one of those chains, USB 3/4 for example, and use two recorders simultaneously, one set up for the main helix line, the second one for usb 3/4 to process one signal and record it separately (making two) at the same time.
If you've meant reamping by a physical helix (not vst) then I'm not sure if it's possible, but even if it is, then I'd say it's too complicated to my liking.
If you use helix Native VST, then it's just another instance, extremely easy.
Out of curiosity, why would you want to use one instance to process two guitar tracks to record two separate signals?

I'm using Native for recording. I've gotten used to the amp sims I used before where I could use one amp, for both guitar tracks. It originally was easier and used less space so it didn't bog down my computer. Now I have a computer that can handle everything easily but I'd still like the option of using one instance of Native. It'd especially be useful for quad tracking.

Whereas I'm sure there's some convoluted way to figure it out, probably, I'd rather just a simple switch. When I'm in the moment and recording I like simplicity. I can always go back and expand on things, set up spacing, find tones, etc but while capturing ideas I prefer a direct line to getting the basics

I think there's the Peavey 5150 and Invective. Though I have never tried them on it. At least the Helix website says they exist.

I always found it interesting they never did the JP2c or Mark V - only the Mark IV. I try to dial in something I like on the Mark IV every once in a while and can never fall in love with it. I'm curious because people have told me the JP2c is the best one.

At the time I sold my Helix, it was because the Mark IV model never felt/sounded quite right for me. Fractal's Mesa models are more convincing across the board for me, whereas other amps are pretty even between the two platforms for me. I'm really happy with the Marshall sounds from my Stomp and Native, but the Mesa stuff still isn't there for me like it is on other platforms like Fractal or even Neural.

So I tried 2203 high gain with several clean channel amps and this pop still occurs. I ended with 2204 mod for high and Voltage for low gain. I have to rethink this and try again.
Hi all,
Some time passed but finally I found some time to prepare a preset to demonstrate the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Run the attached preset on Helix Native or any Helix Floor.
2. Select Snapshot 1 (Clean).
3. Strum a chord.
4. Let the chord to ring a second.
5. Select Snapshot 2 (Drive).

When Drive snapshot is turned on when the signal is still high then this pop occurs. Even if I use another model for clean this happens so I'm stuck with 2204 Mod which is not as agreat as new 2203 but does not have this issue.

Let me know what do you think.

I don't know the quality of this

Between Helix and NAM, all my amp needs are covered.

Would I like more cool high gain amps in the Helix? Sure, I'd love a 5153 model, but it's not like I'm lacking for good tones.
One of the things that tempts me about the Helix (or its derivatives) is that you can insert pretty much anything else into its signal chain. So throw something like a Tonex One in there and bam, you have a 5153 in your Helix.

True, the loop system is very useful.

I just keep my various overdrives, distortions, and preamps in front of the HX Stomp, but I used to have the preamps separated into the loop which is useful for using the Helix overdrives into them and for better gating.

I'd be very happy to have the Randall, the Victory, the Framus, the Krank, the Laney, the Bad Cat, the Blackstar, the Brunetti and the Fortin into the Helix system
Especially the Randall, the Black Cat and the Victory

And the ADA MP1
I pray GuthrieJesus every night before going to bed, that the next update will have the ADA
