Seriously ^ people on Reverb be smokin that cess with the prices they're asking.

Sure there are some folks asking reasonable amounts, but a lot of it is just way too high.

I'll happily buy a used kiesel for $1000-1300 but I'm not going any higher and it's not because they're bad guitars, but it's like you said- people personalize them too much and it's like car shopping for a 10 year old Honda Civic- well built, dependable car on its own. It doesn't need the farting coffee-can exhaust, fiberglass wing, and plasti-dipped wheels. And I'm not paying a premium for someone else's bad taste.

*ok maybe I'd go up to $1500 used but it's gotta be the right one.

Back when phones were something you dialed and there was an actual human on the other end it was still called Carvin.

Either way, I dig it. I'm not into the headless thing, but that one's classy.

This isn't the place to be talking about mcgrocklins. What a man chooses to do in the privacy of his own home, with a consensual partner, is nobody's business but their own

Can't wait for the follow up thread after you inevitably sell the bass:

"I bought a Kiesel bass from a guy that said it was well-made. Turns out HE WAS FULL OF SHIT AND KIESEL FUCKING SUCKS. WATCH MY 40-MINUTE VIDEO TO LEARN THE TRUE STORY."
