I mostly wanted to try Amphub because they had some really interesting models (like the Steavens Poundcake and Framus Dragon/Cobra) that I'd never seen modeled before. I've used their IR loader and Ignite Emissary off and on for a year or so whenever I don't feel like plugging into my amps. For being free I think Emissary is pretty good (with the right IRs).
Anyways, I used my PRS Mushok with a BKP Silo bridge to make a DI, then I just ran that through models that I thought were interesting sounding with whatever eq settings sounded good at the time. I think the SLO/JCM800/ENGL 530/Steavens Poundcake models are some of my favorites right now. YMMV obviously.
I'm not really a fan of the subscription based model, but you can buy individual models as well apparently. Overall I think the modeling is pretty good, and the UI is pretty intuitive unlike some other plugins
