I really dig this. If I ever played acoustic I'd snag one up fast.

My Granddad's got a 7-string Ibanez acoustic guitar. This can't be entirely new to Ibanez? He's had it for years (since early/mid 2000's)

Nonetheless, it's an awesome guitar!

Ibanez have made production 7 string acoustic guitars in late 90's. I got one 2nd hand about 6 years ago in perfect condition. Still with me. The price asked on that link guitar is too high, IMO.

It is exactly the same model on the previous link: Ibanez AJ307 CE NT, here with the familly

I believe mine is from year 1997/8. The link one does not have a pickguard though...

Aw maaan! It's a cutaway acoustic electric! I'd prefer it to be a non-cutaway, non-piezo equipped acoustic, which from my personal experience, sound better. So much for one of these!

yeah, as far as acoustic pickups I'm not a fan of piezo pickups either. Direct sound hole mount or on board microphones are the best.

thank god theyre doing this, ive been adding acoustic parts to my bands songs with a 6 string acoustic tuned BEADGB hoping no one would miss the high e, now i dont need to fake it!
