Input jack bit keeps coming off please help!!!

Hi. The input bit on my electric guitar (the part that is held in with two screws) keeps coming off. The screws don't really screw in any more. They just sort of go in and out, if you know what I mean. The guitar still works fine its just that damn thing keeps coming off D: . Sorry If I'm being a bit vague. Would greatly appreciate some help in this matter please. I'm quite a newb at all this stuff.

Dip some toothpicks in wood glue, shove as many as you can into the screw holes, wait for it to dry, saw and sand the ends sticking out till they're flush, then re-drill the holes.
