So far for high-gain metal (non-djent) boosting, it seems like the Boss SD-1 (and clones) are the king go to. I tend to agree, I found the MXR CBMOD the best out of many I tried (for this task. For other lower-gain tones I've picked different pedals).

But just was reading about the Jackson Audio Broken Arrow. (The V2 I believe only adds midi but doesn't change the tones).

It seems like being able to have separate choices for the clipping OD and the boost/tone circuit, besides making it very versatile, combined wtih the baxandall EQ might make it even better for high-gain (non-djent) OD than the SD-1 (and clones).

Just wondered if anyone had any experience with it?
