It's actually a pretty old trick. I'm pretty sure Stevie Ray Vaughan and/or Jaco Pastorius used it before.

I've seen Martin live here and he was an absolute treat to see live. Such creativity and such class. Excellent execution of his music. He is a fantastic musician and a must to see live, if you want your mind blown.

I got to see him when he was touring with Tommy Emmanuel. What a night that was !

that's quite interesting that he did the "prepared strings" thing on a song like that, because it sounds like caribbean steel drums in a way :p

cosy sounding stuff, too :)

he sounds like a pretty decent chap, and i like the "jazz police" reference!!!

EDIT : amazing finger picking, amazing chords placing, absolutely great to watch and to listen...i am blown away!!!
