It's actually a pretty old trick. I'm pretty sure Stevie Ray Vaughan and/or Jaco Pastorius used it before.

Probably so but its a very cool trick

My mother went to see him perform live in Liverpool a couple weeks ago, she told me he is incredible live performer.

I've seen Martin live here and he was an absolute treat to see live. Such creativity and such class. Excellent execution of his music. He is a fantastic musician and a must to see live, if you want your mind blown.

I got to see him when he was touring with Tommy Emmanuel. What a night that was !
