i tried to get into this guitar and was not feeling it... To me...it would be better for playing single noted backing riffs VS. lead work. these things to me are soo uncomfortable..but look killer as all hell. the other thing is they come with EMG's a Big no! No! for me. I talked with the Dean peeps and they said to change a few things that I liked to add to it it would a 5000.00 dollar guitar:eek:  nah!! I will pass. and Rusty's new dean is way over priced for what it is too. man Dean is really a high price guitar company.....:agreed: they are really cashing in on "Dime" and i have mixed opinions about that thing!!!:wallbash:

Is it the same wood as the 6? This guitar is pretty interesting to me.

It's a way of saying it looks like an halloween guitar.
You know, that time of the year where everyone disguise?
It's like a guitar W.A.S.P. would have played.

Good enough explanation for you?

Yes your explanation is crystal. I apologies for attempting to be humorous.

I hate how vague the description is. What kind of floyd is it? What wood? What tuners? What price?!

You know whats hilarious about Dean? Its cool they're offering 7 string guitars now, but back when i worked at Seminole Music, We often had events sponsored by Dean. Dean's HQ was about 45 minutes from our store. So at one point the main dude, Dean Gillepsie, i think his name was, was standing around after a clinic, and mentioning how he hoped that clinic would get everyone to buy dean's. Conversation went like this:
"Well, i wouldnt mind one but you guys dont have any models i'd play regularly?"
"Whys that?"
"You don't make any seven strings."
His response:
"You still play those?! I didnt think anyone did anymore!" He said it like he thought i was joking or something.
