Nah man, this is Carly Rae Jepsen's smash 2012 hit "Call Me Maybe" but with different notes and rhythms. This is basically Stabwounds with different notes but that was most likely intentionnal so I say it's job well done.
Combined with the album art I really thought this was an AI generated joke before I realized it was Grossman's official channel. This is basically Stabwounds with different notes but that was most likely intentionnal so I say it's job well done.
Kevin dropped a playthrough video. I'm just going to think of this as Necrophagist album 3 where Hannes kept then band going. Maybe I've just listened to so many of Kevin's videos but first time I heard this I thought the playing(attack and muting) sounded like him. No surprise he was the man for this job.
"My job was not just recording the guitars, but also arranging them into something playable, including all articulations and fingerings. Basically, Hannes sent me tabs with no palm mute indications and unplayable fingerings. Some of them resembled something playable, others were just numbers on strings, that had to be rearranged completely."
So it's worse?Nah man, this is Carly Rae Jepsen's smash 2012 hit "Call Me Maybe" but with different notes and rhythms.
