So right after the gym I was heading to Taco Bell when that little voice popped in my head and said "you know.....there's a guitar store not far from Taco Bell. You don't have to buy anything. Just look" So I said "shut up little voice. The whole reason I went to the gym in the first place is to justify going to Taco Bell so you wouldn't pop up in the first place". But my little voice is very persuasive and I am easily swayed so in addition to carrying a bag with two crunchy tacos and two beef burritos (and a large pink lemonade) into the house, I also had to carry these two things in the house. The strat is a standard MIM Lake Placid Blue (2009) but that is a color I have wanted for awhile. But after deciding I wanted it....then I saw the other thing... the partscaster thingy. I asked about it and the guy said he didn't know what it was but I could have it for $200 now or $250 after set up. Suspecting it was a Warmoth neck and it clearly had a floyd (not fr special) and schaller tuners it seemed like a no brainer. Not big on the faux relic or the color of the body but that is easily fixed. The neck is pretty and comfortable so.....yeah....NGD
I have NO idea what kinda home made pickup this is. Also the guitar body started life as a six point vintage trem before the flat mount FR install. I don't know what kinda body but definitely not a MIM strat. I also don't know what kinda wood it is.
It's so.......pretty in blue.
