Hail Rico.

Indeed my man, indeed. Each Rico keeps getting more and more incredible :metal:

2 of them? Must be nice lol. Those are freaking amazing. Congratulations.

Yeah I ordered these at the same time. The purple was ready first and then the red one came right after. I wanted to replace my old blood red one that I sold a while back with something I'd like more.

These two guitars sound COMPLETELY different. The purple one is snappy and tight, and the red one sounds monstrous and huge. Both sound brutal and awesome for what I do, but just have their own sound.

two of the most awsome guitars ever.

Pretty much, yeah :)

congrats! quilt is nice:yum:

Thanks man. It's supremely hard to capture quilt red authentically, but I did my best. It looks nice, but in real life it has this incredible 3D effect when you look at the quilt under light. Bernie really did a great job.

The back of the purple looks like the front, colorwise. The red one, you can see in one of the pics theres a natural mahogany red stain thing going on. Here's a couple more though that I didn't post originally...

I can get more pics later but I'm done snapping them for tonight :)

Great fret access on those compared to alot of V's. Love that the neck meets the body only at the last couple frets. Nice heel as well (of lack there of).

I played both of these live at one of our shows Friday night and it was a blast. They play flawlessly. I absolutely love the neck, fret access, weight, everything. Even the balance of these are really good for a V.

The mahogany neck one in particular is so light-weight and awesome, love it! Mega resonant and lively.

I really like that purple colour, nice choice

Thanks Jeff :yesway:

Nice man! Never really been one for the Vixen shape but I really want to try it before I totally write it off. That quilt on the red one is perfect :yum:

The BRJ threads here are killing me man, and it hasn't even been a month since I ordered the guitar :( if you get any project pictures of my axe you must send them to me in the name of all that is evil
