Hi guys,
I wanted to share this progressive rock backing track in 7/8!
It's in F#m - you can use various different modes over it... Both F# minor (aeolian), F# dorian, F# phrygian and F# mixolydian as well as of course F# minor pentatonic and the blues scale will work on it... lots of fun!!
Here it is
Progressive rock backing track in 7/8
The subdivisions can be counted as 2-3-2....or try 1 & 2 & 3 & a
The scales:
F# Dorian: F# G# A B C# D# E (F#)
F# Aeolian (minor scale): F# G# A B C# D E (F#)
F# Phrygian: F# G A B C# D E (F#)
F# Mixolydian: F# G# A# B C# D# E (F#) (a bit harder to fit in!)
There's more odd time signature jam tracks HERE
And more Dorian jam tracks HERE
