With the holiday season coming up, I'd like to take advantage of this year's deals. I've been playing electric guitar for about 3 years now and I'd like to move onto a 7-string. I currently play an Ibanez GRX20Z and the prices for the lowest end 7strings seem to be over $300.
Any suggestions on a 7 String around $400 that doesn't suck?
I'd love to have a temelo on the guitar but it seems that's around $200 more for any 7S models.
I like to play metal, rock, and sometimes dabble in blues.
As far as my skill level goes, I'm capable of playing about 98% of Master of Puppets (everything other than the crazy squeals Kirk gets out of the whammy bar)
