Holy schnikes, you have an axe fx. If that's stuff you own then I don't think u need much else.

thanks for ur help guys i'll read more info and accumulate more research and save up for the gear.

heres wut I got now:

-Furman P-1800 AR
-Korg DTR-2000
-Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra (direct to computer for recording purposes)
-ISP Decimator Pro Rack G
-Computer w/ 4-6 gigs of ram, 6600 graphics card, sound blaster audigy SC 2.8 GHz processor, reaper, DFHS2, FireWire interface firebox soundcard and Elevenrack
-M-Audio BX5A Active monitors
-Ibanez RG7321 w/ EMG 81 (B) 85 (N) and Sperzel locking tuners
-Ibanez 5 string bass w/ Bartolini pickups

Wait, you have this? Or this is what you plan on trying to get?

If you have all this, then you are well equipped for making some tunage.

If not, then I'd say for the guitar try to find a 7621 or 7421, a lot better quality for not much more. I am no EMG buff, but I think they have 7-81s or something, and is the 707 the 7 string version of 85s or 60s?

Also, you'd have to route it for those, passive sized blackouts may suit you better if you don't want to route the guitar out.

If you get/have an Axe-fx an ISP gate is not needed, or tuner. Both are built in.

I don't have any of it, that was just my list of gear I thought might sound good.

EDIT:
-Furman P-1800 AR
-Fractal Audio Axe-FX Ultra
-Computer w/ 4-6 gigs of ram, 6600 graphics card, sound blaster audigy SC 2.8 GHz processor, reaper, DFHS2 and FireWire interface firebox soundcard
-M-Audio BX5A Active monitors
-Ibanez K7 w/ Seymour Duncan AHB-1 7 str. And blocked tremolo
-Ibanez K5 (stock) or PIB1 (stock)

I was gonna run it w/ the Axe-FX Ultra to the computer's sound card w/ the interfaces and shit and run it through the monitors.

Yeah, that would a pretty bad ass setup, especially for beginning.

If you have the money for all that, go for it!

If not, pod x3 and reaper is a great starting place, nab ezdrummer and a bass, the nbam, instant almost kind of meshuggah.
