Finally got my RG1527 today, its greatness is a box, lemme tell you guys. I'm not sure if i like it or the 7620 better. Once i get a tremsetter in it though.. lol

I like the neck a bit better, but i like the 7620 bridge more.

Holy G.A.S. lol

Supposedly if you replace the trem studs on the 1527 EdgePro bridge with locking studs from the LoPro, it makes a big difference--de facto turning the EdgePro into a LoPro. There are tech tips on ibanezrules.com that show how to make your own locking studs without replacing the existing EdgePro bushings, which do not support the LoPro locking studs.

Yeah, rich over there does those mods himself for 35$, or so i think. At least thats what it is when you buy the guitar from him. i might look into that.

well, i ordered mine in march-april-ish. As for here, locally, the ibanez guy told my music store that they wont get more till november. so the sooner you order the better... unless you order it offline or something where they already got them in stock.

This will probably be what I get. It's a toss up between this and a DC727 from Carvin (the carvin being a hardtail, if I were to go with it).

I just don't know if I am up for dealing with a trem again after all these years. Right now I have a JS2000, RG421, and SC420, all hardtail.

I'd love a production RG7 with an Edge FX, like my JS. Nothing, and I mean nothing stays in tune like that guitar.

well, you do know you can get carvins with floating trems and whatnot, right?

YEah, but if I were to get a carvin, I'd take advantage of the fact that they offer hardtails, which I generally prefer.
