The "funny" in this thread is in a broad sense of it and fill the complete spectrum of the word, ranging from complete shit to awkward well build guitars... yeah, that one fall on the last understanding of the word funny...
Honestly a giant scale electric violin would be awesome. Maybe you could just goof around with saddle heights on a normal guitar, but I doubt a guitarist would be able to use a bow on it very easily.

Fodera made Victor Wooten a "Bow Bass" for a classical piece he was going to perform with an orchestra. Basically what you're describing, half-moon radiused fretboard, raised bridge saddles.
One of the better violin shaped guitar things I've seen... Normally I'm not a fan of that stuff but this is cool with P90's and a Floyd.
That thing is wild. Victor Wooten is amazing.

While it's not for me, and I was going to joke how it'd likely spend its life hanging on the wall of a head shop, it seems too well done for that. Even the pattern could be much much worse, and the green binding pulls it all together. It's like...a really well-made zoot suit. I can respect it, but still laugh at it.

I kinda dig these three, over the top but not too bad.

Yeah they definitely strike me as stage/performance guitars. The scroll-y tele one is growing on me too.
