2012 - Hollowway not really into Sabre guitars.
2013 - Hollowway way into Sabre guitars.

I'm not sure if it's you or me that's changed, but your recent builds are absolutely stunning to me. I love 'em!

Top notch finishes with a unique, ''rustic'' (to quote Gordon Ramsay  ) flavour to them.

Seriously awesome work

Wow!!!!! 0_0 your work looks phenomenal!

On your site, it says the Ghost model is coming soon, will that be for a custom shop order, production or both? And are you willing to do left handed models for the Ghost in a 7?

Pretty damn interested in an 8 string Ghost. Any updates on the status of these?

Ok Quick status update on Ghost etc.

The Ghost 7 is in full production. The 8 is in development but will be ready by the end of April along with the 6. (The website doesn't reflect this yet because I am shit with HTML/Web design and am getting a new, much more powerful site sorted which will include a guitar builder/order form to make things much easier for customers! I'll keep you all posted)

Lefty models will also be available for ALL models around the same time (I'm developing a universal Jig for my CNC which allows me to do this)

The only difference between the Left and Right handed models will be that the Hannes Bridge will not be a lefty option (Schaller's fault for not offering one!)

Hey Chris!
Was scanning my old TGs and found that Wraith review and THEN found they are still £1299! *thinking now holy shizz i want one* just a thought (and it is just a thought i still have months and MONTHS of saving* but how much would one of those Wenge Wraiths be if it were 7 strings and fanned?

Cheers! =3

EDIT: Answered on FB cheers!

Wow, just popped into this thread for the first time this year and I am really regretting not doing it sooner. Really loving the curves on the Wraith models.

I am almost certainly dreaming, but are all of the Redwood Lace Burl tops spoken for? I noticed that you posted that these are for a run, so does that mean something special is on the way?

Keep up the amazing work!

Cheers,
Brad

Those are some seriously sick looking guitars. I saw your posts here last year and I was mildly interested, but these are just otherworldly.

Hi all, here are a few workshop pics and other bits just to provide a bit of an update on what's going on here at Sabre HQ.

The big news first of all is that I've taken on an assistant and may be moving to a much larger workshop which should massively increase my production capability!

Secondly I'm now also about to begin (proudly) officially offering the Ola Strandberg Endurneck profile on all my instruments under licence from Strandberg Guitars.

This month has been incredibly diverse, with a great mix of custom and stock level instruments being ordered. These include the first ever truly hollowbody Wraith, the first production fanned fret Ghosts and sees the redwood lace burl "Hellfire" tops finally made into guitar flesh!

It also saw Sabre make an appearance at the Great British Guitar Show in Birmingham which was a fantastic weekend and also an awesome opportunity for a bit of a reunion that saw five of my endorsees all come and demo on the stand.

You might recognise this chap too.... He seemed to like what he played...

After careful seasoning to between 7 & 10% moisture which can take months, the blanks for each production run are brought into the workshop and left stacked for 2-3 days to acclimatise to the ambient temperature and humidity. The final moisture content in the wood before finishing is controllable to between 7-11% dependent on species. This is essential in order to achieve stability and longevity.

I really love that input jack design. I'm always leaning on mine when playing live. Awesome work!

Your work looks incredible! Whats the chance of you getting redwood tops like that again?
