Hey guys,

I came up with a new fun idea for a video series!
The concept is simple:

My viewers send me DI tracks of some guitars along with some drum and bass stems.
I then reamp the guitars with VST plugins only, so no real amps.

It's been fun and interesting so far.
I'm definitely planning on doing more platforms such as TH3 and perhaps S-Gear.
So far Helix Native has worked very well.

Here is episode 1:

And I've just released episode 2:

Hope you enjoy!

Hey man.
Any specific reason why you chose to load your IRs via third party VST instead of using Native for that? Sorry if I missed the explanation.

In this video I didn't really explain it so I'll do that now:
Line 6 wants there to be full compatibility between Native and the hardware.
Because of this you can only load 128 IR's just as with the hardware but you can't just browse folders and load new files on the fly.
I like to get results as quickly as possible so that why I use NadiR.
Browsing is very easy and it sounds fine.
I can load all sorts of different files seconds apart and I don't have to go through the proces of loading the files first.
Plus, the IR resolution on Helix isn't super.
It's fine but it could be better.
NadiR sounds just a bit better to me but it's a subtle difference.

Cheers for your reply!
I noticed Helix Native being a bit cumbersome when it comes to browsing IRs aswell, I didn't know about the resolution though.
I'm looking forward to your TH3 vids. The Recto with HP filter is my favourite amp there, it has such a nice twang in the tone!
