Hey all!

It's been a while since I posted any updates here so I thought I'd let you all know what I've been up to :)

Over the last year I've refined and developed my regular range of picks, shipping many thousands and now stocking in several places around the world :)

My most popular bundle, launched last October:

I've completely overhauled the website to be better in every way, with a more intuitive layout, customer accounts, and an easy to use review system: https://www.winspearpicks.com/pages/reviews

Just tonight I've put up for sale a new batch of my Amber Standard series, thinner engraved picks that I'll be making many of this year. They've sold out overnight a couple of times now but I've got unlimited stock going for the next 10 days.

Also available to preorder until the 16th Jan are some beautiful tri-colour Metallic print hoodies and T-Shirts from the wonderful Hands On Printing :hbang:

Happy new year folks, and thanks for the continued support from this forum. Enter code 'SSO' for 5% off an order of any size until the end of the month :) :metal: If you're spending £35+ , don't forget the regular 'SAVE' code to bump that up to 10% !

Love the hoodie. Are the sizes on the smaller or on the bigger side :D? Can't decide between M and L

Cool picks and site. I just placed an order. I wasn't sure what material to try and couldn't decide between the shiva and broadsword design, so just got a couple of different material types of each. Thanks and looking forward to checking them out.

Thanks very much dude, hope you enjoy them ! :) Those are both pretty conservative designs and should suit you well

I have some of your picks from when you first started out, the UHMWPE ones with no logo or anything. I have been waiting for you to make a more rounded tip type and it looks like you finally have with the Shuriken! I might have to give those a try.

Curious though, how come every order button says "Pre-Order?"

Cool, oldschool stuff! :D
Preorder indicates there is an order queue, pretty busy at the moment. Usually it would say the expected date on the button too but I didn't want to add confusion because I've got Tshirt print preorders on there with their own date too. Actual estimate is 25th Jan right now for shipping as seen here: https://www.winspearpicks.com/pages/shipping - hope that's ok, let me know if not :D
The Shuriken is a little bit more rounded generally, but it does depend on material a bit too - the hard stuff like Sandstorm is generally very sharp unless I make a conscious effort to round it before polishing.
All this is entirely flexible though, if you want to order and leave a note for softened tips on any pick at all, I can do that :)

Interesting product! They look great. I've been curious to these thicker picks for a while now. How would you recommend them to someone who has never felt any issue with standard picks but suffers from pick squeaks when tremelo picking (especially recording!)...

Love your picks dude! The Shiv is my current favorite JazzIII XL style pick!

The attack is great, picks hold very well and are not slippery, the size feels just right to me!

I found myself playing your picks rather than my Red Bears Big Jazzers lately... they are that good!

Favorite material is the sandstorm, then the stealth... for whatever reason I find the bloodline and icegrip less comfortable maybe too light...

I came too late to the party :(

It's too late to get a hoodie right?

Including shipping it would be £28.99 (sorry, can't ship to there any cheaper!) - if you can paypal me and let me know your size in the next 24-36 hours or so that should be fine ! :) My paypal is tjwinspear@gmail.com
If you wanted picks too, you can check out with those and I'll refund the shipping (accounting for any bulk discounts, too). :hbang:

Thanks very much dude, glad you are enjoying them! The UHMWPE picks are quite light, it's an odd plastic for sure and very unique in its tone+durability as a material

Thanks for the interest :) I would try the Icegrip/Bloodline as they have a very smooth tone. Alternatively in general try using a softer pick whether that be material or thickness :)

I was using Dragonsheart picks for a while until I picked up a Winspear (with a StringDrop subscription). Haven't touched another pick since. Now I've got 2 with the second being slightly thicker than the first; but I love them both.

Good to hear all the happy voices, but I'm still waiting for my order to be shipped. Placed on Jan 14, no update since then.
