She actually started off doing covers and was relatively unknown around that time, then did the cryptic thing, now it's a cryptic music thing. Not really out of her realm. She started in music and is still in it.
I played one of the Schecter CR6 models and was surprisingly unimpressed. I normally dig whatever Schecter is selling but that thing felt cheap to me. The gloss was super shiny and tacky and the neck had that really lightweight balsa-wood type feeling. It's just...odd.
I was going to since this is replacing my Jericho Elite 7 (satin white) but I actually ended up going with chrome and abalone for a more icy kind of look. I didn't want to have to get gold-poled pickups and all that annoying stuff. Black on white is too stark so I definitely didn't go for that.
Semi-con: The C-7 Apocalypse has a thicker neck than the MK-2s and the MK-3s (at least the Artist models, but I think the Standards are thinner too).
Pro: The C-7 Apocalypse has the best set of stock pickups I've ever used.
Pro: Has stainless steel frets and locking tuners as mentioned.
It's...
Ordered my second Kiesel build. I had something stupid simple so all of the free upgrades for Black Friday made it even cheaper. Got a Kiesel Aries A7H for $1550-ish.
I tried to order a white logo on white white for completely stealth look, they said no. I wasn't shocked. lol
I have 3 of the MK-2s as they are absolutely freaking excellent guitars. No issues with any of them. The MK-3 Arist feels a bit more comfortable to me and has higher-end components/materials but the MK-2's simplistic perfection can't be ignored.
The trans white finish was on the MK-1s. The...
That's a Schecter thing in general imo. It's not that big of a deal imo though. I buy a guitar with just the body and stuff in mind. Not the pickups or electronics really.
It's hit or miss.
Also there were issues with the Artist MK-3s finish being messed up along the neck. Not sure if that has...
Same. Agile guitars are fantastic. They don't beat my higher end guitars but they are still really really good for their price and definitely better than equal-price guitars I've tried from name brands like Schecter, Ibanez, Jackson, ESP, Chapman, and so on
I've actually forgotten and it's only been a few months. lol
I think it's a swamp ash? multi-scale 7. Red burl top. All wenge neck (3-piece). Tangent luminlay fretboard inlays. Macassar ebony fretboard?
I'm having the contoured edges specially handled. I don't like natural edges much (like...
It's a LOT of work for Adam. He's got at least one person helping him now but it's not full-time and I don't think the helper knows the whole start to finish process. I wish I myself could physically help rather than just respond to emails and messages (which I can only do after I get home from...
That was me. I had to return 3. All had pretty bad chipping along the fretboard. It was beyond acceptable at the price point. I ended getting a 4th a few months later that still has the issue although much less severe AND it was much cheaper too (like $400 off I think).
What NotQuiteWest said and the fact that is amazingly comfortable being the reason for that
My only complaint is that the saddle screws are offset due to the design and I find it really odd aesthetic-wise
You will. I'm sorry it's taking so long but you will get them. There's a lot of things going on behind the scenes to increase production output on our end.
I don't have a problem with that so much as with how they marketed their product compared to how things actually are. They acted like they designed stuff in-house (even if some of it was a copy of or similar to existing designs) when apparently they didn't do that at all. Their "4th Dimension"...
Screw GOC. I'm seeing some bad stuff on Facebook as of late. Their whole operation seems to be falling apart. I'm done being a customer of theirs. Especially considering that they are apparently charging $25 a piece for saddles to replace the sub-par ones they used on the guitars originally. And...
