Strandberg 7 and my Fender Japan Telecaster.
I always thought Fender Japan makes guitars aimed for newbies but now that I own one, its one of the best playing and sounding guitars I have.
Shops in Japan are beginning to stock Strandberg OS7's again. Anyone coming to Japan, better grab your OS7's soon before they run out again :)
And yeah, they have Laces too :)
Also, the next batch seems to be coming after 6 months, with a price raise. (according to a distributor I talked to)
In Japan the Washbergs are 3x more expensive than the OS. I see no reason to spend that much money when the Washbergs aren't that much different from the OS.
The price for Washbergs in Japan is like 660,000yen ($6600) and up, which is preposterous!!
If you're in or near Japan, get an OS. Washbergs aren't worth it here!
Thread resurrection for a mini review after 2-3 years!
I just got back from playing a Suhr Modern Satin.
+Comparatively the Satin's neck feels thinner, but on paper it's the same size, which is kinda weird. Bends feel better than the GG though because of the SS frets. I prefer the GG's neck...
That's a good suggestion but unfortunately, Suhrs cost like $3300~ here in Japan :/
Suhrs sound good but they're not really for djent and drop tunings from my experience..
Here's what on the list :
-Mayones Duvell 6
-Caparison Dellinger FX 6
Looking for more suggestions :)
I have an RGA321F right now and I wanna look for a backup/replacement and for drop B tuning guitar.
I've narrowed down what I want/the specs as follows:
-double cutaway
-6 string
-No locking trem preferably, but will settle for a blocked one
-24 frets
-HH configuration
-3/5 way lever switch...
