    I just ordered the Carl Martin OctaSwitch Mk II - Your 6505 doesn't have MIDI so you'll have to fork out for a unit that can connect a 1/4 jack to understand MIDI and a lot aren't cheap! The Carl Martin does everything for you, and more importantly (well, for me anyway) the pedals are in loops...

    Ok the original deal fell through... I have two options now: 1 - Buy a brand new one direct from Matamp, or 2 - Buy something like an Orange Rockerverb 50w, I heard the power section is built similar, could be wrong? Thoughts guys?

    Only bumped cos the guy wants a quick sale and I got him to hold it for me lol my bad :) As long as it works like a power amp I'm happy with that... If it sounds huge then it'd be something I'd keep and run other heads through it in the future!

    Question regarding guitars on airplanes

    I didn't realise soft cases were allowed on flights, hence people took hard/flight cases... That makes EVERYTHING easier! Is that for domestic flights or short haul? Manchester to Antwerp is about 1 and a half hours.
