I've adjusted the truss rod so that the neck is almost dead straight. I'll could tighten it a bit more to see if it makes any difference, but I think the guitar will be unplayable then. No Locking tuners or problems with wraps around the tuners. I use standard gauge strings.
I'm suspecting the...
anyone else seriously dissapointed in the neck of their Solar? I have one of the cheaper A2.6 models and the neck on it is really unstable. Even the lightest hand movement when playing will bend the neck resulting in the strings going out of tune even by 5 cents. Basically it will never play...
Why would you insist on buying a badly designed product that you need to spend time or money modifying when you can buy a better product in the first place?
yeah it's a very clean recording but your claim that they recorded an entire album that way is still absurd and I don't believe it, not even for a second. Whats your source of information? random rumours on the internet?
thats a lot of bullshit. Recording an album note for note would be extremely slow process and and end result wouldn't sound like it was actually played at all. I can't believe someone actually thinks they recorded an album that way.
I was going to post a NGD thread but might as well post mine here
I love this guitar. On mine the ebony is very dark. The U-neck shape, with the kind of shoulders, is not my favourite but it doesn't bother me. The metallic LTD logo was quite a bit raised from one side. After bending it back...
yeah I shouldn't have used the word microphones but your link talks about the differences between different types of microphones(condenser, dynamic etc) not pickups which are all essentially the same except for EMGs and Fishmans. I really doubt that the small tonal differences between different...
Microphones aren't slow or fast. They don't "track" frequencies at different speeds. The fact that some of you can't agree if EMGs "track" bass slow or fast, or are saying that bolt on necks "track" faster makes it seem to me like you yourselves don't really even know what you are talking about...
