DSM & Humboldt - Black Clouds
If the Black Clouds does hi-gain as well as the Silver Linings does drive, then I think I found my replacement for the Ceres/Eros combo I just sold.
Almost ordered one earlier today, but have decided to wait for more demos before pushing the button.
Sure, it takes a bit longer to change the tuning on a Floyd Rose, but the locking nut makes it possible to go from heavy to light strings and vice versa without having to modify/replace the nut, and it's really easy to adjust the height of the nut by adding/removing shims.
If you don't have a...
Love it!
Maybe Dave can help with the black parts: https://www.fretsonthenet.com/Charvel_Jackson/jackson import.htm
The plates and pickup rings he made for my Rhoads looks amazing.
I love my RevivalTREM! It only does bias tremolo, and it's my first tremolo pedal, so can't really compare it to anything. It's actually a brownface amp in a box since they couldn't emulate the bias tremolo without emulating the entire amp. Sounds great before a clean'ish preamp or on it's own...
I have hundreds of different IR's (plus the cabs from Two Notes) and I know all about how much an IR can change the sound. But I don't agree with you that different cabs will "have a way bigger result on the sound than changing the preamp". My experience is that preamps and IR's are about...

Thanks. Problem was that when I got the low end where I wanted it, then the sound was way too clanky for my liking. I've spend hours trying to make it work.
I will consider buying the Pro-II when it comes out. I'm hoping it can sound good without power amp simulation, since I really want to get...
I have a pedalboard with a Boss ES-5 and a Strymon Iridium, that I’m really happy with for clean to low/medium gain stuff. I only play at home and run it through headphones, desktop speakers and my Powercab+.
I then got an Amptweaker Tightmetal JR and paired it up with my C.A.B. M hoping that...
I have a 24.75" scale FGN Neo Classic hss strat model (ncst-m10m), that I bought from Japan back in 2013. The built quality is on the same level as most Ibanez Prestige I have owned/played over the years. The pickups are ok, but not great. The singlecoils has a vintage stagger, that makes no...
