I don't like playing guitar for the sake of playing it - I'm not good enough to come up with cool stuff on the spot. But if I develop and idea, or play a song I really like, or learn a new technique that makes me feel good about my "progress" (if there is such), or even better - play with a band...
The thing is I really disliked the TC Fluorescence and if HOF has the same shimmer I will be really displeased. The shimmer on the RV-6 is awful as well and that's the main reason I bought this pedal (I know, I know).
Now, I like the EHX Oceans 11 but I'm really skint atm and I cannot afford...
Today I got my replacement... and it does the same thing.
Could it be a design flaw, or am I just uneducated and stupid and don't know how a tail works? It sounds weird...
Let's hope it is broken, cause if it is a design flaw I'd be pretty bummed out. I like the shimmer on this thing and it isn't just a one trick pony effect as well. For the price you really don't have much alternatives.
But what's interesting is that it doesn't make that sound when the "trail"...
Hello! I just bought a Joyo Atmosphere pedal and when I turn it off it has that awful tractor noise or whatever it is and I can't figure out if the design is bad or the pedal is broken. I'm going to return it, of course, but I'd like to know what really happens with it. The wetter it is, the...
All the Iron Labels I've played felt worse than my Schecter Omen 7 which I bought for the equivalent of 280 euro in 2012. So I ended up upgrading my Schecter, instead of buying a new guitar.
So in my experience, especially the Iron Label Ibanez's weren't worth it. At all.
Can a "pedal platform" amp do the job? I don't use cab simulations, and I'm not a fan of the amp sims as well. I need the fx unit mainly for the choruses/reverbs/delays. What I ideally want would be a fenderish clean with very little break up that I can use my modulation effects with. I don't...
I'm going to use my old thread for a new question.
When I want to use the amp presets of the Zoom, I plug it in the Return. But it sounds kinda... dark. My question is: Is the power amp of the Peavey kind of transparent, or not? Is a dedicated power amp going to sound the same, or every power...
I don't know guys... I tested it again and it sounds alright. I guess I did something wrong the first time. Don't know. It's still a little dark, but the amp itself is dark so I can't expect it to sound like a Fender. Anyways, it's all good now :) Now I have to figure out whether I like it or...
Yep. The Zoom works with the Engl...
I won't be able to try it again with my 6505 until the end of next week, but there isn't a problem with the Zoom obviously.
Yeah, me too...
This weekend I'll test it with a friends rig, he has an ENGL tube amp.
I've heard about digital multi-fx processors sounding bad in certain amps but that's just unusable.
No, I used only the "Tube Screamer" cause I wanted to compare it to my analog TS.
And of course the other modulation effects, tried in the input and in the send/return, still the same result.
My practice amp which is Fender Frontman 15g. Even through the same cab with the frontman used as a head.
The Peavey sounds great on its own and is working fine, yes.
Guys. I recently bought a multi-fx unit Zoom g3xn and while it sounds great in my practice amp, when I plugged it in my Peavey 6505MH it sounded Atrocious!
I'm sure the problem isn't in any of it, I just can't figure out what's happening and why it could possibly be like that.
Let me try to...
