Well I don't plan on keeping the MG as my main cab forever, I just got it in a trade and want to play around with a head/rack and cab setup. I've always had combos and I want to try something different. I've found a few power amps locally but most are for stereo systems, and run thousands of...
Title says most of it. I bought a POD HD pro x and really love using it, but I want to hear it through my Marshall MG412a rather than headphones. There are a few power amps for sale on my local craigslist but the look like they are used for stereo systems and I was just wondering if there was a...
So the Marshall is 120 watts/ 8 ohms, and the rocktron velocity 300 is 150watts. Would that mess up the cab or would you have to get close to full volume to do that?
Ok, so I just picked up a Marshall MG412A in a trade and I don't really know much about cabs. Also, I am going to be purchasing a Line 6 POD hd pro x soon, and was just wondering what I can or can't use power amp wise. Any help is much appreciated.
I now realize my title should read "I'm new to...
It was my first pickup soldering so don't judge haha. This is the back of the tone pot. As you can see, there was some solder there that got spread around while I was trying to attach/reattach everything. I'm assuming it just wasn't meant to be soldered there and I made a newbie mistake.
So I just "installed" my new Crunch Lab/Liquifire 7 combo in my Agile Interceptor 725. When soldering them, the wire between the volume and tone pots came loose. It looked like it was soldered to the back of the tone pot so I just heated up the solder and remade the connection. My guitar...
I just bought these off of a friend that took them out of his newest EBMM JP. I am going to trade him for his black/black set because they will look better in my Agile Interceptor 725 but I thought I would show these off too. They look pretty nice :)
I plugged it in and messed with it for a while, and found out that the noise gate works pretty well. I still have to explore the compressor but so far it seems pretty cool. I traded old gear I didn't use for it so I'm ok with it.
Sorry but I didn't understand that all too much (I've never used compressors before:/). Would I be able to use it if I went through my FX loop on my amp?
I am buying a behringer composer locally and I was just wondering if I could use it for guitar because it is a gate/compressor/limiter. It has 1/4" jacks so I would think so, but would rather see what you guys think.
I would consider an Agile septor if they came in more colors. The option of mahogany or black is a little bland. Unless I saved for the semi custom or a pro/elite models.
I would probably be interested if I had the cash now. I'm trying to sell my current 7 string and am not sure when it will sell. Out of curiosity, what kind of mods have been done to it?
