Hey...
If you want to find one, at least twice a year an Apex 1 will pop up on reverb or ebay. Guitars like that require alot of patience. Patience I don't have myself, but if you have it, it's best to wait it out and hunt religiously for one to pop up. I used to do so for an Apex, Fender John 5 HS...
Hey guys! Made a post in the pickups spot of the forum by accident so reposting here! Dunno if any of you are in the Massachusetts area, but I dropped into Salem during work and checked out a shop called Witch City Consignment. I stopped by to expand my goth wardrobe. They kinda sell whatever...
Hey guys! Dunno if any of you are in the Massachusetts area, but I dropepd into Salem during work and checked out a shop called Witch City Consignment. I stopped by to expand my goth wardrobe. They kinda sell whatever people donate or bring in and there’s a whole bin full of vintage tubes for...
I tried one and it’s a comfy C shape that feels somewhere between a Schecter Thin C and a Fender Modern C. It’s not too thick and not too thin, just a perfect feeling in your hand imo.
My Fender Jim Root Jazzmaster. I never knew quality in instruments until I ordered one and took it out of the case. It has master level craftsmanship but that isn't what I love about it the most. What I love the most about it is that it is a workhorse WITH that level of craftsmanship. It has no...
I’ve also been checking out STL Tones and they’ve got some amazing stuff! This Lemper also came loaded with a ton of stuff from Keith Merrow, Ola Englund and a few well known studios.
Absolutely! I’ve been rocking some of the higher rated stuff on the rig exchange as well as the profiles...
Yo! I’d been bouncing between amps forever but had been eyeing a Kemper ever sonce it came out. Unfortunately, I worke dminimum wage until my current job so I could never even dream of affording one. But the day finally came and I couldn’t be happier! Video comparisons to real amps really...
The way they handle customer service is really great too. You get your own representative assigned to you that takes time to learn what it is you like and use gear for, that way they know what you need.My rep happens to run a home studio so we chatted for a while on what I could do to start up a...
Oh for sure! Just nowadays my hands can’t accomodate a flat and thin neck like an Ibanez anymore. Makes my thumb hurt and then go numb. I find the Fender actually keeps my thumb in a comfy position now and it looks like Fender, Charvel and other companies with comfy C necks are gonna be my go to!
Thanks! It’s funny it seems I’ve bought a bunch of guitars you’ve had before hahaha! I still have my RGIB6 and plan on having it plek’d soon!
Or do the John 5 triple humbucker tele and load it with emgs hahaha! Nah, my buddy HATES active pickups with a passion, hates the idea of a mahogany...
Thanks it's a sweet guitar from the sweet people at Sweetwater!
It's pretty hectic right now, enough so that going to Boston today I decided to hit the train instead of drive!
Very! I'm excited to be able to put her through her paces either tonight or tomorrow!
Thanks and Salem in October is great! Traffic ain’t too bad either if you have a GPS. I’m also goth so finding alternative communities in MA outside Salem is next to impossible hahaha! We all flock here!
