Alright, I sold my LP and now I have a little cash in my pocket. I've considered a Xiphos, and a S7420.. Ive wanted a Loomis FR for ages.

I play shit like In Flames, Nevermore, Aeon, Unearth.. I have around 1K to spend.

I hate the neck on my H307. It feels terrible.. I'm disguisted to even play on it. It just doesn't feel "right" at all. I believe its Neck Thru?

Hmmm not sure what to recommend. I'd say the Loomis but I really don't like active pups. I've heard good things about the Ibanez Xiphos as well.

If you don't like the H307, there's a chance you won't like the loomis. My friends LTD 7 string has the same exact neck contour and thickness as my schecter, but i'm told the loomis is thinner. I have not tried one of those myself.

RG1527 is best if you like thinner necks

Its not the fact that the neck is too big.. a thinner neck wouldn't really matter.

I'd say that because I prefer my LP's playability over my H307.. Im not sure what it is. I can't really explain it..
