Subscribing to this thread then. Really interested to see how that guitar comes together, i.e. I may wanna snag it if/when it's for sale.

I'd love to come out and check out that single cut when you have it done if possible. Let me know!

The single cut has about one more week of curing before buffing and polishing and final setup. I'll let you know when it's done. I'd love to have you check it out.

Quick question... Why is one of the pups angled slightly more than the other? Just a style choice?

The carving on that top is cool as hell.

Forgive me if this is silly, but is there no maker's mark or logo on this thing? Also, that's an intense fan. It looks absolutely gorgeous. Fantastic work.

Still working on the marking issue...

Yeah, it's a 3" fan. I wanted to go pretty extreme on the prototype just to kind of feel the whole multi-scale thing out a bit. To be completely honest, though, the 3" fan feels perfectly natural. Not awkward at all. In fact, I'm thinking about building myself a guitar eventually with seven strings and a 3.5" fan with the 7th fret straight.

That's a BRUTAL neck glue jig. You at the very least know your necks will go nowhere anytime fast

Looks and sounds awesome, can't wait to see some progress on it.

How much would specs like that cost?

No one likes visible glue lines... and when they're on a structural part of the guitar they're down right unacceptable. :)

This build is for my buddy, Gabe! It looks great! Hopefully I will get a chance to play it sometime.
