Brutal Tones, New Drum Mix, and Novallo album sneak peak

Hey guys here is a snippet of some new tones were using for the "Novallo" E.P. dropping in January.
Since this is the mix I have settled on I'd like to see what kind of feedback on the tones/mix/master you guys would approve of.
there no vocals and also there some missing layers,

Thanks guys, I'm using SD2.0, guitars recorded using a mesa boogie dual recto using the Sperimental impulses. (there the best I.m.o)

Eq and compression is really the only thing used here, just subtractive e.q. allways (less is more)

and using parallel compression for the drums helps get alot pf punch.

edit: don't know if its just my speakers atm but maybe during the end of the solo, the drums / and guitar solo slightly buried the underlying riff... will listen again later. sounds amazing anyway

Only thing I can say is I would prefer a bit more low end to the kick and guitars. But that's a minor minor critique. That solo was super tasty btw

Thanks guys, the guitars are gated three times haha.

Once on my compressor pedal, then my NS-2 then I'm using reaper's noise gate to weed out any extra noise, also using a stereo bus track for the guitars and using e.q. and compression, using 2:1 ratio for the comp slow attack fast release. I have noticed that this blows up your guitar's perceived stereo image making things much wider and bigger.

I really like it. I want more low end on the guitars though or is there no bass yet? in which case the guitar is probably fine.

After hearing this mix in other mediums I agree that the low end lacks a little, Also it seem's like things get buried a little, i have since worked on this and for any interested we will be posting an album teaser with vocals later today, i will hit the forum and let you guys know when it is up.
