If you could only have 4 pedals, not including a tuner, footswitch or power supply, what would they be?

Wah, versatile OD Dirtbox, Multi Modulation, Powerful Delay.

In my specific case:

RMC Wizard Wah
Free The Tone Gigs Boson
Eventide Modfactor
Free The Tone Flight Time

Thankfully I have all those already.

Just one. The Fractal MFC-101.

So I can control an Axe FX.

Okay, seriously...

Duncan 805, Digitech Whammy, Turbo Tuner, and a Boss NS-2 or ISP Decimator G String.

I only use 3. (It'll be 4 eventually)

Custom Center Street Electronics (CSE) TS style boost>CSE Supernaut>TC Dreamscape

I'm gonna get an HM-2 once I own an amp to properly pair with it.

Maxon OD808 and ISP Decimator (not the II) out front, then a Strymon Timeline and Big Sky in the FX loop.

Close runners-up include an SP Comp, EVH phase 90, Whammy DT, Ibanez LF7, and a Decimator II

Jeez...I have 21 on my board right now..this is going to be hard. I guess since this is a hypothetical world I can choose pedals I dont necessarily own yet.

Empress compressor ( dont own one yet but I plan to get one this year)

DR Scientist The Elements ( my favorite dirt pedal it does it all and will never leave my board)

Eventide pitchfactor ( essential to alot of the stuff I like to do with octaves and pitch shifting it can also do digital delay stuff really well)

Hungry Robot "The Wash" ( not out yet but apparently they are going for the multiple stacked delays and reverbs sound in a single pedal format, thats what I would need if limited to 4 pedals. I've heard clips and its sounds really good) or possibly maybe just use my trusty digitech timebender :yesway:

Ps: A volume pedal for swells is pretty essential too but I guess I would just have to get my guitar volume pinky swell game on point:metal:

koko boost because it has two boost modes, el capistan because its the best delay ever plus it has a wah and the repeats can sound like they have chorus on them. wah and probably the strymon flint because it has reverb and modulation!

Damn, my delay setup is 5 pedals already

I'd keep my Dimebag Wah, MXR Micro Flange and Fulltone OCD, and add a Korg SDD-3000 to replace the above mentioned delay setup.
