Bass VI sort of inspired short scale bass. Pine body, birch veneer, maple neck, padauk board. Guitar bridge and tuners, EMG 35DC and 35P4 pickups. Lots of fun to play. Did this quick and dirty since I had no idea if it would sound awful.

It’ll also be the first time we’ve met despite knowing each other for something like 7-8 years. This is easily one of the most beautiful and unique walnut tops I’ve ever used. DIY Project from 2005-6 inspired by Steinberger guitars and 80s metal shredding, Strandberg wasn't a thing back then.
I really liked how the neck turned out in shape, look and feel. Unfortunately it warped to the point where I can't fix it. So it got barely played.
I am currently trying to fit and install a bought replacement neck, might post an OldGD in standard guitars if I get it nice and playable.
