I would choose one of those YT guys that absolutely nails all the greats.

Then I'd have chosen one guy, but gotten the skills of 20+.

Lets say a mix of Shawn Lane and Alan Holdsworth.

Then I'd play something completely different from the both of them, but I'd love their technique

Danny Gatton, hands down.
Phenomenal player, his chord knowledge is unparalleled, and everyone I know who is old enough to have seen him perform live have told me that he was just mind blowingly good.
He could do so much with just a tele. There's a video of him playing jazz, and it's inspiring.
I believe it's in a Holiday Inn of all places.

Dan Mongrain's style
Emil Werstler's picking hand
Vogg's riffs
Guthrie Govan's intuition

If this Voltron style spirit combo could be possible, I'd cry.

EDIT: I almost forgot Michael Schenker.

Always really dug that dude's playing, especially in Beautiful Creatures. Some of that kind of style would definitely be on my wishlist as well. :hbang: Also, nice avatar! I guess we're Gir brothers LOL
Yeah, Ashba is a killer player. I still love the first Beautiful Creatures album. I didn't find him a good fit in Guns n' Roses. But he co-wrote some great tunes for Motley Crue on the SOLA album, and his writing and playing in Sixx AM is superb. He's one of the players that have turned me on to digital modellers, such great tones in the studio and live.
And yeah, i'm a big Invader Zim fan.

Just to add something a little more unique to the list, I'll say Jani Liimatainen. I just really dig what that guy can do.

Keith Emerson.

I'm competent enough at guitar that I can get what I want out of it, but dammit, I want that level of coordination while playing keys where both my hands can be doing something completely different and still keep rhythm. Plus the guy's knowledge of theory, at least where it came to piano, had to have been through the roof, AND to top it all off, he was damn charismatic while he did it.
