What do you guys think is the easiest to play 7 string neck? I know everyone has their own preference when it comes to necks but what neck do you think everyone wouldn't mind having on their guitar?

Not having played a JP7, I can't say, but having played a COW 7, I think it's a good medium that would keep many players happy.

I've only played Steve's Loomis briefly but I really liked the neck and I think I liked it the most of all the guitars I have played. The Ochoteco has a really nice neck a slightly rounder version of the 2027 neck but the rounder neck of the Loomis just felt right. I have not played a JP7.

shred = old UVs and 7CST. thin, flat, very fast
riffs and heavy chops = ESP B7 round, thick, you can play it all day long and don't feel tired

I fucking love the neck on my jackson KE7. Way more comfortable than the Ibanez's I had.

having played:
Schecter C7's
Carvin DC727
EBMM JP7
Dean EVO 7
Shaved UV7
RG7

I vastly prefer the Dean EVO 7 neck to every 7-string neck I've ever played.

This is how I'd have it. If I was doing leads, prolly a good RG7321 neck. RG7321s in my eyes have some really nice necks, not too thin but not too fat. Not the best for rhythm though. As for Rhythm, Schecter C-7 necks top it for me. perfect amount of meat to get around the neck and feel comfortable.

Carvin. It's like the best balance between thickness and thinness and they just play so smooth.

The J. Custom RG8427F neck with the VelveTouch neck finish.

That is by far my favorite. I think the RG1527 comes second.
