Saw them for the first time last night in Hobart. They played a banger of a set with stuff from Engineering The Dead all the way through to TerrorVision. So good!

TerrorVision I think has stolen album of the year away from Where Owls Know My Name by Rivers of Nihil.

Squalor Opera is unbelievably awesome. I had to come back and edit, this is amazing shit all around.

I agree with everyone’s sentiment. This is a killer album. I’ve played Altro inferno too many times to count. The vocal work is truly demonic and borderline black metal-esque in certain parts. Mendel’s playing is always fantastic as well, he knows how to craft catchy disonnance. Aborted and Benighted are keeping brutal death alive.
