Whats the difference between professional and performer? The look the same to me, except mine has the flame maple top.

Professionals had better hardware and usually better quality woods and fretwork compared to Performers. I tend to stay away from Performers, though there are very good ones out there. I have found that Performers have thicker necks and smaller frets compared to Professionals of the same era.
