Holy Hell that thing looks fantastic. Congrats.

Your description of the Retribution pup sounds right up my ally. I've never thought about purchasing actives before, but if I did these would most likely be it for me.

I hope these sell well so Dino can have a more permanent sig as opposed to his current limited run. I'd also love it if he got the Meshuggah/Tosin Abasi treatment so he can have two models, though I'm sure time will tell if that is even an option.

Great buy man, I hope you enjoy it for a long time. :yesway:

Is the retribution pickup a standard sized active? It looks like a bit smaller?

Really thinking about grabbing this.

Awesome new guitar! Great looking guitar with simple but amazing specs. I owned the 2127 for a while but I could never fully adjust to the scale length. I think the RGD body is one of the best 7 string bodies visually. Maybe one day we will see an Ibanez with similar specs with a 25.5 scale length. Have Fun!

If you like the RGD body but want a 25.5 scale.. you might want to look into Head from Korn's new signature guitar.

And HNGD! I love that dark satin red so much.

Not sure if you're serious or joking but dude come on... I know that. I'm just asking for confirmation if that pickup is the same size as an EMG because from all the photos it looks like it's 9/10ths of the way there.

Huh, they had a thing showing the dimmensions the day it came out. It was nearly the same size as the 707.
