It is an amazing guitar, holy shit. For a 2005 guitar, this looked absolutely brand new, with everything still intact, even the factory tag. No dings or gouges or visible damage. The best part is i got it for 600 dollars. Time for a set up and pickup change and this guitar should be ready to rock

HNGD dude! Even for a beater $600 is still a pretty good buy for one of these, for a clean one that's a great find!

I had one of these I bought new from Sam Ash back in 2006. It was an incredible guitar. Slimmer neck than the current rg752. I miss it dearly. Awesome score and price!

Nice score. Black is already one of the less common colors for the RG1527, and to find one that's in such nice shape after so long is a sweet treat indeed.

No wonder why it is kind of hard to find a black one. With this black one I've completed my guitar collection and to find one in such good shape is great indeed.

Still my favorite Ibanez 7 string to ever come out. HNGD and such a killer deal!

Was my first 7 (mine is a 2007, bought it new), and it's still my main guitar, so at this point in time I'd say it's also my favorite. Pretty much the best combination of quality design, workmanship, materials and price. It also didn't hurt that I got mine for the dealer's cost from the supplier, as it was a guitar that someone else had special ordered and then couldn't pay for, and the store was going out of business because the owner was retiring.

I also honestly feel like the Edge Pro is really underrated, and is probably only perceived as not being on the same level as the Lo Pro because of the initial lack of locking studs, something they remedied in later guitars (mine still only has non-locking studs, but they haven't caused any issues). It's incredibly comfortable to play, and the ability to change a string on a double locking trem without having to cut the ball end or string it in reverse makes things a lot more convenient, as does the ability to level the baseplate using the top of the plate instead of just the bottom.
